Today’s free WordPress theme, Wynton Magazine, is a magazine-style theme. It’s perfect if you want to use WordPress as a CMS of sorts
It comes complete with drop-down menus, includes a secondary navigation menu, advertising space, and many section pages.
A lot of effort went into the development of this WordPress theme. And although it is free, the developers offer some excellent support for it.

WP-Coda was fashioned after the website for CODA by Panic. It has a fixed window in the center and the pages slide-over via javascript (it’s a pretty neat effect).
If you’re looking to setup a static site with a few pages, then this theme will work for you right out of the box as it was designed to display pages.
However, you can still use it if you want to set up a blog, but it will require a little change in the coding. You can find all of the instructions for this on their website.
Overall…gorgeous. Well done Greg Johnson.

WooThemes has got some very talented designers over at their spot. Their WordPress themes are very professional, corporate, and just down right gorgeous.
Just take a look at their “Original News Theme”. It’s highly customizable and already comes preloaded with options to add advertisements and change the look of the theme.
This is one helluva free “premium” WordPress theme.
